CLC will attend the CHIC Conference and Exhibition 2026, bringing together expertise across fire safety, damp and mould, and decarbonisation.

Hosted by CHIC on the 3rd of June, this year’s conference theme is Joining the Dots, focusing on how the housing sector can better connect compliance, sustainability, operational delivery and resident outcomes to create safer, healthier and more efficient homes. Richard Hughes will be joining an industry panel discussion on 'what helps efficient contractor service delivery'.

With extensive experience delivering specialist programmes across occupied homes and live residential environments, we support housing providers with practical, compliant and resident-focused solutions that address multiple asset challenges through coordinated delivery.

Visitors to our exhibition stand will have the opportunity to meet Hayley Ratcliffe and Leanne Ball, who will be sharing insight into how we support clients across fire safety, damp and mould, retrofit and wider asset investment programmes.

Fire safety remains a critical priority across the housing sector, and we continue to support landlords in meeting evolving building safety requirements. From passive fire protection and compartmentation works to fire door installation, upgrades and remedial programmes, we deliver compliance-led solutions designed to protect residents and futureproof housing stock.

Addressing damp and mould remains a major focus for housing providers. We combine detailed property assessments, root cause analysis and long-term remediation strategies to help clients improve living conditions and create healthier homes for residents.

We also deliver decarbonisation and retrofit programmes that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and support clients on their journey towards net zero. Through fabric-first improvements, ventilation upgrades and wider sustainability works, we help housing providers deliver warmer, safer and more efficient homes.

As part of the conference programme, Richard Hughes will join an expert panel discussion exploring What helps efficient contractor service delivery? The session will bring together industry leaders to discuss the practical challenges and opportunities involved in delivering high-quality services across the housing sector.
