The goal of this three-year contract is to help residents save on fuel bills while reducing the city’s carbon footprint by cutting carbon emissions. In the first year, we achieved a CO₂ reduction of 159.3 tonnes—a 93.7% decrease. Of the 63 properties, 54 received a Band A rating, with the remaining 9 achieving a Band B rating.

CLC has collaborated with GSAP (The Green Skills Advisory Panel) and Exeter College to develop a training renewables programme. The programme provides ‘green careers’ to students at 45 colleges – educating young people in the community about new and emerging technologies and techniques to reduce the impact on the environment.
