Who owns and runs CLC?
H.I.G Capital acquired CLC in June 2023 and Axis Europe in July 2024.
Axis Europe and CLC merged in 2024 to form a new, multi-sector, national property repairs and maintenance services providerof scale. The merged business is run by a group Board of Directors.
Jointly, we conduct property repairs and maintenance works in important infrastructure sectors: Blue Light emergency services, Commercial & Retail, Housing, Defence (MOD), Education, Health Care, Heritage and Utilities & Industrial.
Together we focus on our clients, our residents and our service delivery.
How long has CLC been in the building repairs and maintenance business?
CLC was founded in 1969 and grew steadily into a thriving property refurbishment and maintenance services provider.
Our longevity and industry experience results in long-term, successful partnerships and relationships with our clients.
In fact, 75% of our building repairs and maintenance works come from long-term or repeat customers who have shared some of this journey with us.

How does CLC care for and engage with residents and occupants?
Because we work repairing and maintaining homes, we prioritise the people who live in them. Our Resident Liaison Officers are fully trained in resident engagement and care. They keep residents fully informed about our work in their homes. And they’ll support residents while work is ongoing too.
And our commercial maintenance services teams ensure the same service of care and engagement for residents, occupants and customers of offices and shops. We schedule our work to suit their needs and timetables.
A strict company code of conduct is at the heart of our resident care and engagement, and ensures we behave courteously and with respect at all times.
And our partnership with tpas, the tenant engagement experts, supports and endorses our existing resident care and engagement programme.
