What we do
CLC is a multi-sector, national property maintenance and refurbishment company.
What types of planned maintenance works does CLC carry out?
CLC’s skilled operatives and subcontractors offer a comprehensive list of internal and external planned maintenance works. These include:
What does planned maintenance mean?
The very name ‘Planned Maintenance’ suggests a proactive (planned) approach to property maintenance which anticipates issues, and schedules repairs before failures occur.
Planned maintenance experts survey, diagnose, and address potential problems to prevent emergencies and breakdown.
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) includes regular ongoing checks and repairs, ensuring systems stay functional and safe.
What are the benefits of planned maintenance programmes for landlords?
Planned maintenance programmes help catch issues early, preventing expensive repairs. They improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and allow better budget planning.
Bulk purchasing and systematic execution reduce costs and timeframes while ensuring high-quality, timely repairs.
Planned maintenance programmes enhance resident satisfaction stats too.
What are the benefits of planned maintenance for residents?
Resident care is at the heart of all CLC’s works. And our planned repairs programmes bring residents many significant benefits.
Residents benefit from advance scheduling, reducing inconvenience.
Clear communication about timelines, scope, and disruptions makes the process smoother.
With co-ordinated teams working efficiently, projects are completed faster, minimising daily routine interruptions, leading to a better overall experience.
Our feedback indicates that our residents value this proactive approach.
How do you provide information for a planned maintenance programme?
As a planned maintenance contractor, CLC conducts thorough surveys to assess building conditions and prioritise the order of repairs.
Our full reports detail the property’s structural, mechanical, and electrical needs, providing a strategy for repairs and upgrades.
Efficiency reports also highlight energy-saving opportunities, extending asset lifespans and guiding future maintenance decisions.
How do residents know which repairs they are responsible for?
Repairs can take many forms.
Some repairs will count as responsive repairs and will be dealt with immediately by the responsive repairs contractor or landlord.
And some may be part of a longer term planned programme of repairs which your landlord is putting in place with your planned maintenance contractor.
Landlords usually have a list of repairs for which the tenant is responsible and those which the contractor will sort out.
If you are a resident, to avoid disappointment, it is worth knowing for which repairs you are responsible.
If in doubt, residents can consult their tenant handbook or ask their landlord directly to ensure the correct repairs are made by the right party.
