We conducted bathroom replacements at Pennystone Court whilst the property remained occupied so our management team worked closely with the managers and staff to ensure disruption was minimised and that each residents’ individual needs were met. As MHA maintains a uniform appearance across their properties, our team worked with the designer employed by MHA to ensure the works met the specifications and all contract issue drawings.

Special accommodations and measures were implemented to facilitate working in a live care home environment. Banksmen were used to man corridors and site-specific hoardings were erected to ensure safe access to the work area while still restricting access to vulnerable residents. On-site health and safety were managed with the support of our Group Health, Safety and Environment Team and all operatives were provided with relevant training.
innovations, challenges, solutions
As the residents had varying needs, our operatives worked closely with the team on-site from the outset.
