CLC Secures £1 Million Fire Safety Contract with Broadland Housing Association
CLC won the Broadland Housing Association: Supply and Installation of Fire Doors and Fire Stopping Works contract and will be delivering crucial fire safety works across Norwich properties.
Scope and Contract Value
The overarching purpose of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) is to secure the supply and installation of fire doors and fire stopping works. These services are essential for ad hoc / planned replacement and refurbishment works to ensure Broadland properties maintain a high standard and remain fully compliant with Fire and Building Regulations, and associated legislation.
Total contract value: £1,000,000
The contract is structured into two distinct lots, each valued at an estimated £500,000, covering fire doors and fire stopping works in Norwich:
- Lot 1 - Norwich North and West
- Lot 2 - Norwich South and East
Works included in this contract:
- Fire and installation of fire doors
- Fire stopping works
- Fire-prevention installation works
- Fireproofing work
The initial estimated contract dates are from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2027.
Opportunities for Extension
The contract agreement includes significant opportunities for continuation. The initial term is set at two years but includes the possibility of a 2-year extension. This extension would run until 31 October 2029, making the total potential duration of the contract four years.
