We're so excited to announce we have been presented with two awards at the Whitbread Supplier Conference and Gala Dinner 2019, including GNFR Supplier of the Year.
Priding ourselves on the partnership we have developed with Whitbread since 2010, we first began our journey with them when we were awarded a national planned maintenance and reactive works contract across their portfolio. We then went on to deliver 6000 room refurbishments across 35 Premier Inn hotels in 2012 and continue to carry out refurbishments and maintenance works across all Premier Inn sites.
The annual Supplier Conference, which took place at Club Wembley during October, updates suppliers on the company’s progress across the business and provides an opportunity to share their plans for the future. The conference saw the Chief Executive, Group Transformation Director and Procurement Supply Director for Whitbread put on talks during the afternoon and money was raised for the Great Ormand Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity during the day.
Daylight quickly turned into dusk and soon it was time for the prestigious gala dinner, hosted by Vernon Kay. As well as great entertainment, the evening saw suppliers take part in live auctions, raising money for GOSH, and client / supplier networking in a relaxed environment. As the evening moved along, the awards were then presented. During the awards ceremony, we were proudly presented with two awards including Construction & FM Supplier of the Year and the main award; GNFR (Goods Not For Resale) Supplier of the Year.
Nominated by the Procurement and Property Teams at Whitbread, these awards recognise our strong relationship and partnership with the client and our continued quality and excellence in the services we provide for Premier Inn.
