Site Manager – Fire Protection

We are looking for an experienced fire protection site manager to join our team in Shepshed.

  • Previous experience of supervising/managing fire protection projects is desired
  • Thorough knowledge of the Fire Protection sector and products
  • Capable of overseeing numerous projects and directly employed operatives and subcontractors
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to monitor and oversee health and safety documentation in line with current legislation
  • Excellent people management capabilities
  • Desire to help grow the Fire Protection division of the business and to be a member of a dynamic team
  • SSSTS/SMSTS is desired
  • FIRAS accreditation is desired. Knowledge of FIRAS accreditation and testing standards.
  • Ability to undertake site surveys to scope and select appropriate solutions
  • Understanding of the importance of collating evidence for all completed works using systems such as bolster or site audit pro



Our Shepshed East Midlands division covers the Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Warwickshire areas.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Passive Fire Protection Site Manager and will have a thorough understanding of all areas of fire protection and relevant products.

You will need to communicate effectively with team members and clients and maintain this whilst overseeing multiple contracts with a mix of directly employed operatives and subcontractors.

You will be required to work closely with the Contracts/Operations Manager and Commercial team involved in your projects and will be responsible for the planning, programming, health and safety, delivery and success on all the projects that you oversee.

You will be responsible for the quality and compliance of all works in accordance with current standards and legislation.

FIRAS accreditation is desired.

The ability to deal with clients and manage directly employed operatives and subcontractors is essential.
