Qualifications
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery for Fire door installers or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Fire Stopping, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience.
Desirable:
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
Relevant experience
Essential:
- Proven experience working as a Carpenter/Fire Stopping installer.
- Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector.
- Trade background experience
- Knowledge/Awareness of Health and Safety on site
Aptitude, skills & abilities
Essential:
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to diagnose/problem solve.
Personal attributes

All site workers will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
A Full UK driving license is essential.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: You will work 39 hours each week, Monday to Friday.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Installation of Fire Door Sets
- All aspects of fire door maintenance
- Working in a team and also independently when require
- Liaise with management team on a daily basis.
- Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings.
- Fire Stopping
