Following a successful night of celebration, staff at CLC raised £4750 for Macmillan Cancer Support at our 50th Anniversary Spring Ball.
Taking place at Beaulieu’s National Motor Museum, CLC staff celebrated, danced and laughed the night away in commemoration for the company achieving 50 years in business. Throughout the night, we raised money for the Macmillan Cancer Support by entering a raffle and giving donations.
Last year, Macmillan nurses supported more than 650,000 people across the UK. With someone being diagnosed with cancer every two minutes across the nation, Macmillan are there for those who need it most, offering physical, financial and emotional support.
With our donation, Macmillan are able to employ a nurse for 169 hours, helping those affected by cancer, and their families, with crucial medical, emotional and practical support. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer so we’d like to extend our gratitude towards the charity for all the vital work and support they give to patients and families in need.
Well done to all the CLC staff who raised these significant funds throughout the night of the Spring Ball.
