CLC Contractors is proud to have taken part in the annual Remedy Oak charity golf day to help raise money for charity.
CLC has taken part in a charity golf day, helping to raise an impressive £23,876 for leading cardiac charity – Heartbeat.
The CLC team were led to victory by Managing Director Nick Hilton, showing off their golfing skills on the South of England’s Third Best Golf Course.
Nick said: “To claim victory on such an amazing course with Derek, Simon and Tiff was a real honour and we’ll be back next year to defend our title. A big thanks to all at Heartbeat and Remedy Oak for a truly memorable day.’
As the day progressed, guests enjoyed halfway house refreshments followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner, charity auction and raffle.
Newly appointed Cardiac PEEER Youth worker, Becky Cutler, was a special guest on the day, and spoke about the importance of psychological support in cardiac patients, as well as her new position,funded by Heartbeat.
Other guests in attendance included congenital heart patient, Matthew Cornick from Weymouth, who walked 122.2 miles for Heartbeat in 2021.
Mark Ind, Chief Executive of Heartbeat, said: “We would like to thank everybody involved in making this fantastic event happen. Raising almost £24,000 is a remarkable amount and we are extremely grateful for the generosity of our supporters.
