CLC secure place on Home Group’s Property Refurbishment Works Framework

The two-year contract will see CLC refurbish newly acquired Home Group properties across Leeds and Birmingham.

Following a competitive tender process, CLC will join two other contractors on the Home Group Transforming Care Project which will help transform some of Home Group’s care services across the Birmingham and Leeds area.

The works will consist of refurbishment activity to 10 properties for a value of £400K. The contract will initially be on a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further 12 months following completion.

The overall scope of works will include internal remodelling and refurbishment including the fitting of new bathrooms and kitchens, rewires, mechanical adaptations and external works.

Over the last 12 months Home Group have been working in partnership with the NHS and local government to deliver new models of care for customers leaving hospital. As part of their Transforming Care Project, Home Group are aiming to house more than 100 vulnerable people over the next five years.
