CLC secure a place on the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) framework for Hard Facilities Management

Throughout the two year framework agreement, CLC will be responsible for a range of hard facilities management solutions across various NHS bodies, local authorities, other government departments and/or non-departmental public bodies.

Following a competitive tender process, CLC were successful on multiple lots on the Hard Facilities Management 2 (Hard FM) framework agreement which will see us provide a national service across various regions throughout the UK.

CLC were successful in five out of the nine lots under the framework which is worth an estimated £47 million. Over the next two years this will see us undertake the provision of planned and reactive maintenance works such as painting and decorating, flooring, roofing, guttering, etc and minor alterations and improvements; replacement of lamps in light fixtures; planned maintenance and annual inspection of fire resisting door sets; and anti-ligature doors and associated monitoring and alarm systems.

The framework will be on an initial two year contract with the option to extend to a further two years. The framework commenced on April 2022 with an estimated completion date of April 2024.

NHS SBS is a joint venture between the Department of Health and the French IT services company, Sopra Steria. Established in 2005, the partnership aims to ‘increase efficiency and quality, save time and money, and support world-class patient care.’

CLC were previously successful in securing a place on the NHS SBS Hard Facilities Management framework back in 2017 and we look forward to working with NHS SBS again on this new venture.
