This heritage refurbishment project saw us complete minor repairs and external painting to the houses, cottages, offices and stable block (now a cafeteria) at Grade I listed building, Montisford Abbey. As the abbey is a very popular attraction, we took extra measures to safeguard staff and visitors during opening hours. We put up metal crowd barriers around the works to provide safe passage for pedestrians instead of typical unsightly plastic fencing.

During the project the team painted the exterior of the main stable block, now the visitor café. To reach the upper level near staff offices, we explored alternatives to a potentially disruptive cherry picker. After consulting the client, we opted for scaffolding, ensuring efficient work with minimal disruption.
