Following the hard work and efforts of our Fire Protection teams, we're excited to announce that we have achieved membership with the Association for Fire Protection Services (ASFP), as of January 2019.
The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) is a UK advisory trade body founded in 1975 to represent, support and promote the activities and key issues affecting the fire protection industry in the UK and, increasingly, internationally. Striving to promote excellence in the design and installation of fire protection products through high quality and technical expertise, the ASFP support and nurture issues in relation to passive fire protection (PFP) in the built environment.
Recognised as one of the UK’s leading authorities on the importance, specification, procurement and installation of PFP, the ASFP provides a voice to all those involved in the supply chain of PFP (including manufacturers, distributors, contractors, installers, specifiers, certification bodies and end users).
Passive fire protection is a vital part of any fire precaution strategy and the purpose is to contain the fire or stop it from spreading from one area to another. At CLC, we’re committed to installing the very best fire products or solutions and we closely monitor work to ensure full compliance with current legislation.
Our membership with ASFP will see us have access to a wide range of support and guidance including industry-specific training opportunities for our team, knowledge, and guidance on all aspects of ‘built-in’ fire protection and the opportunity to develop the next generation of policies and standards. Our membership is just one of the ways our specialist team is committed to the safety of you, your clients and your assets.
