Butlins

CLC have been undertaking planned maintenance works at the Butlins Holiday Park since the early 90’s.  Since this time the makeup of the resort has changed dramatically and CLC have played a significant part in maintaining the look of the great brand that offers guests great facilities and an atmosphere to have fun and relax.

CLC’s work in this time has included ongoing upgrade works to the chalet accommodation in line with the new DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) guidelines, the refit of an existing shop to form a new booking centre, an extension to the swimming complex, the refurbishment of the bar and entertainment centre, as well as general maintenance and repair works throughout the site.

The fast moving nature of the Butlins resort requires all work to be carried out with the minimum of fuss and disruption to guests and staff alike, ensuring their wellbeing and safety at all times.  In order to achieve this Butlins require a contractor experienced at working in occupied property and CLC have a wealth of experience in this as well as an impeccable Heatlh and Safety record that has seen them awarded the British Safety Council’s International Safety award for each of the last 29 years.

The latest large scale project undertaken involved the conversion of a 1950’s building previously housing a snooker hall into a new, state of the art Conference Centre.  This involved major structural alterations to form new facilities including two large conference rooms, a lounge bar, new staircase, toilets and a reception area.  The entire building had acoustic walls to ensure the delegates have complete privacy from the park outside and the integration of modern construction methods also means the Conference Centre can be converted into a function room.

CLC were able to offer a high quality, cost effective service, enabling the streamlining of works processes to ensure minimal fuss and delay for staff and guests at all levels of the Butlins operation.  The project was completed on time and to budget, providing Butlins with a state of the art facility to cater for the growing demand for corporate business in the area.
