Social Housing

CLC has provided maintenance services to the Social Housing sector for nearly 40 years. This sector now accounts for over 50% of our turnover encompassing: “Decent Homes” work, void property repairs, cyclical redecorations and reactive maintenance.

Our focus has always been on establishing long term relationships with our customers, so embracing “Rethinking Construction” was a natural progression for our staff - who have all been trained in the partnering process and are fully committed to ensuring the success of each partnering contract that we work on as a Group. We build good relations with the partnering bodies and the communities where we work, resulting in long standing and extended partnerships across the UK.

We have over 25 formal partnering arrangements with social housing providers carrying out work on a local, regional and national basis. These contracts encompass all types of reimbursement arrangements i.e. Open Book, Target Cost with pain/gain share, Schedule of Rates, Fixed Price.

Our 16 branch offices enable us to provide a local, directly employed workforce and opportunities for employment including apprenticeships for people within the locality including our customers' residents.
